Wimbledon

This is interesting, the thread's turned to **** and it's not because trolls have claimed Murray's a bottler who'll never win a Grand Slam for a change :o

Nadal just broke to take the first set to a tie-break. Enjoyed seeing him be knocked out last year but I'd prefer to see him reach the latter stages this year.

Nadal seeded to meet Federer in quarters.

Before Murray won US Open I was a Murray naysayer and he really did shock me by winning.

I'm Lucky? Is that some sort of threat? What exactly is lucky about it?

I hope you heed thundys warning, but quite frankly you're rude. You're totally entitled to your opinion, but there is a more socially acceptable way of putting it across without annoying people.

i was expecting nadal to crush that bloke after he had the nerve to take that first set off him but he's doing pretty well for himself so far.

When Nadal gets in to position he's hitting shots and moving Darcy around but as soon as the ball comes back he doesn't have the movement to retain control of rallies. If he gets through this match his knees are going to be shot later on in the tournament :(

I think Nadal's knees are shot anyway. He's still obviously an incredible player, but his body is letting him down and on any surface other than clay, I think the physicality of Murray and Djokovic will beat him.

I think he's sadly reached the point where he'll only be able to play on clay going forward. Can see him getting knocked out early then taking another extended break :(

Edit: That point was just painful to watch.

I don't want nadal to win this. I've never been a fan of his. don't know what it is. just dont like him. Obviously its great to see an under dog get a win. Nadal doesn't seem on top of his game though, something obviously niggling him

Really think we may be seeing the end of Nadal's career as a force soon. Yes, I know he won the French, but that is all he can win now and eventually that knee will stop him winning that as well. Great shame, but that's life. It's not like he hasn't made enough money from tennis already.
