Overclockers UK in conjunction with Razer are giving away £250 to a lucky forum member who reviews their Razer FPS gaming mouse.

The reason we are focusing on FPS is due to the big titles being released including Battlefield 3 and soon Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 3. We would like to hear your in-depth review from the driver software to the feel of the mouse.
By doing the review your passion for the mouse will help others decide if Razer gaming mice is the choice for them and could bag you £250.


A guideline for the entries would following along similar lines as this :

Why is the mouse good for FPS?
What features does it have?
Does it improve your skills in FPS gaming?
Would you recommend it?

Very good competition and I will be entering :), however just 1 thing:

1. How is the winner being decided, by the random number generator or by the best review?

As for the one of the case competitions, it was said that the winner would be chosen by the best answer but was in actual fact done by the random number generator and the post that won, was only a few words and there were much better detailed replies than it which should have won the case instead.

Well constructed is fine :) ideally positive as we are trying to show how good the mouse is, but at the same time if you've experience problems then talking about it in a balanced way is fine :)

We will be reading all the reviews at HQ and deciding the best one. A random number generator wouldn't be great as users may put a lot of effort into this :) So it helps to go that extra mile
 
razer mice are good but logitech last longer theres my review :p

this isnt a joke i used razer mice for about 5-6 years solid.

one fatal floor with them is under the buttons (yes i took them apart to see why they broke ) there is a little plastic bit which wears out then your front buttons are useless even if mouse works! had three razers do this :(

in fps gaming they are second to none and i actually prefer them to logitech mice but like the trusty 518 they just work and work .

ive had two razer diamondbacks
mamba
razer pro (white one )
lachesis
death adder

and guess how many logitech 518s ? one (have two incase other packs up :p) but the original one has lasted longer than all of the razer mice put together !

saying that overall i prefer the razer feel in gaming and i do believe they are better just the build quality isnt . get this right and i feel you would do better sales wise.

the look the branding is cool the performance is good just the build is what needs looking at. why pay a premium for something that doesnt last when you know a mouse which 99 percent of same features will ?

that is razers problem thankyou . :D

You just spoke about the mouse wheel, that's a downside but there could be an upside. The shape, feel or sensitivity of the mouse.

If you feel you earn more than £250 in an hour which to write a good review will take around this time then it wouldn't be worth entering you are correct. It can be constructive, I'm sure not all the experience you had were bad one's :)
