Like Derby for example...and Coventry.
Derby has recently been visually improved by the addition of two massive wind turbines I'll have you know!
If you fancy some more there's a few hundred ruining the coast here we wouldn't mind getting shot off ^^

I think they can look pretty good on decent backdrops. Although as long as they dont start popping up EVERYWHERE.

A rather sickening and monotonous experience.
I never see them going that fast around here, they must have a lot of wind, or the video has been speeded up, but that would be cool

You don't actually want them going super fast because that makes noise which annoys people and causes vibration which affects their lifespan. The bigger/heavier the turbine the slower it will spin, but the bigger the generator it can drive, so you can generate as much power as a faster/smaller turbine without driving locals insane. (this is a simple explanation not exact science).
I really couldn't disagree more. They must be the most graceful way of generating electricity, they look modern on the sky line.

They are trying to install a tidal lagoon in Swansea but the nimbys are out in force, saying it'll ruin the area, its ****ing Swansea not the Gower. Fisherman claim it will ruining the fishing. Except it will be fully open and there fore they can get their bait further out into deeper water.
Sometimes I think people need to be told instead of asked, I'd rather have wind farms putting our nonrenewable generators into rotating state. As it would lower costs and dependency on oil from questionable areas.
Hell mass installation of solar panels into a smart grid configuration would place more non renewable power stations into rolling stock.
People seem to think renewable systems are supposed to take over from non renewable but they are supposed to aid the non renewable systems by turning them into rolling stock.
