Wind up surely?

Given the drivers age, that's not too bad.

there's me thinking £450 FC was a bit high for a BMW M5! :p

I've always wanted an SW20. Insurance companies hate me for some reason. I love my CTR anywho.

Was reading an older Banzai with the TDI north CTR on the cover and they had a feature on the MR2 racing thingamabob. Relatively standard MR2 competition, looked interesting. Maybe when I can afford a place with a garage I'll fulfil my Mr2 ambitions.

My car began life as an N/A but I had a Turbo engine conversion just after Christmas so I've experienced both sides of the coin :)

Chassis has done ~ 85k miles, engine has done 70k :)

Ahh right, is anything likely to go bang after 100k?

It is a toyota I know but most turbo's will have been thraped from birth.:D

They are indeed surprisingly inexpensive to insure. I am 23 with 3 years no claims and I am paying £900, hopefully I will be able to get that down to ~£750 come May when it is time to renew.

Who were you insured with?

At 22 years old with 2 years NCD, I am paying £800 for my modified Turbo through A-Plan

I'm with Admiral. When I bought my MR2 I had already been with them for 3 months or so, so I decided to stay with them rather than cancel and lose out on 3 months of building up an extra years ncb.

Next time I will be able to shop around and hopefully find something better(not that its that bad anyways).
