Window Tints

Back on topic sorta.. How much does it cost for tints? I know prices will vary but at some point in the future I'd quite some on the lude. Also been told that it's easy and I should do it myself and save some cash yet I would be worries it would come out all bubbled and horrible and make me look more of ***** then I already am

Fair enough but try finding a valid point to take the **** about. I had a valid point ie the silly exhaust and bad wheels but you chose to single me out because I drive a cheap car and I was an easy target, not because you actually had any point to make.

I made the same comments, well similar ones, and I don't get ripped into. :( :p

Your digs at the blatently obvious showed absolutely no more imagination or forethought than mine.

...see below...

I cant really see much to take the mick out of buying an older fiesta, which have always been reasonable cars, and maintaining it to a good standard. Good tires and sound brakes or phat alloys and sweet window tints..... I know where my money would be

So i've just come in to this thread and had the displeasure of reading it all whilst my popcorn is still warming!

Seriously, you don't do yourself any favours......man up.

it depends on the size of the car, but expect around £150 for a family sized hatchback.

I think they should bring in some proper quality standards with regard tyres. That way when opting for premium tyres insurance discounts should be given.

Or similarly hikes for those that cheap skate and create extra risk.

Well that would only happen when the government realises that speed is only one factor to road safety and not the be all and end all.

Didn't you have the black Corsa at the MM meet?

Getting your knickers in a twist over some simple removable modifications is getting old. When I first got my own car, It was a Punto 60S in burgundy wit ha green boot. I then fitted a stereo system, K&N cone filter, painted all the interior grey trim black (badly so it al lstarted flaking off), crashed it into a mate then had a grey bonnet added and fitted the worlds gayest bright blue gear knob with chrome on it after chopping down the stem for super fast changes. I had some great times in that car and it was comedy gold. I chavved it up and lived it up. Beggars can't be choosers and all that.

I've been in a couple of Corsas and they weren't haf bad. They weren't pitched and performance cars but the interior still felt solid and I was comortable. If the Corsa was so **** there woudn't be any on the road. The onyl thing we can prossible bring up is what was paid for the car but some people, including myself, need finance deals to enjoy what we enjoy best. We don't have mummy daddy or intelligence on our side to save up for everything. I paid £5500 over 3 years at 13% on a Peugeot 206 1.4 and had it 4 years. I did 40k in it and despite it breaking over and over, it wasn't THAT bad. Just cost me a fortune.

It seems to me like it's getting cool to offend and insult people for not taking someones advice and trying to think forthemselves, mistake or not this is a good thing. If everyone went out and did what the internets said the world would be a messed up place. I think it's great that Tupac is enjoying driving and owning his Corsa regardless of peoples opinions. I joke with my friends and colleages about their cars of "fail" but it's always in jest and we know it. Here it comes across as personal and vicious tbh.

Jay, you seem to have a nak at making threads that end up locked as I forsee this one heading that way!

:p

PS. Come down this weekend and take me on a date babe. Window down, shades on....and big bore diesel noise! :D

+1, hypocrisy to the max tbh, people with crap cars slating other people about their car.

I find this quite interesting, the vast majority of people in this thread making valid comments don't have crap cars, they may not have things like Ferraris, but they certainly don't have crap cars.

I presume you never comment on the quality of play of a football team as you are not a professional footballer, and you never comment on the food in a restaurant as you are not a chef?

Hey well at least my car is as naff as the day it left the factory. The OP has taken a ok car and actually SPENT MONEY to make it look worse!
