Hello hoping someone can advise what is the best size drive for Windows 10 operating system I have 500 gig hd and a 1 tb hd for storage but looking for a new drive for operating system thanks
 
How long is a piece of string? ;)

250GB is plenty for an OS and normal apps with breathing room. Work out how much you need for additional data, games etc then add that on.

Thanks for quick reply mate I was looking at a 250gb one but wasn't sure whether a 500 gb would be better or overkill as they're not that expensive
 
For the minimal price difference, I wouldn’t put anything less than 512GB into service personally, but obviously to each his/her own - if it’s a relatively light office box or some sort of appliance based build, then 128GB could be overkill.
