windows 7, how to swap from hard drive to ssd

do you use that to make the iso thing on the usb stick?
ive downloaded win 7 as a torrent. ive extracted it it doesnt look right when you use the usb download tool it wont recognise the file.

thats what i downloaded

Yes I used it everytime created bootable USB to installed Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10.

It seemed to me you extracted iso file after completed downloaded, you don't need it to extracted it as Windows 7 USB tool will doing all work automatically. :p

I cant find good step by step guide but think a video will be make a lot easier for you. It absolutely really so very simple ever a 7 years old kid can do it!

Have both the SSD and USB connected, make sure all other drives are disconnected. Then turn on, boot into the boot manager and select the USB to boot into it. This will then load the Windows installation and you'll be ready to install Windows.

No, you would put new drive into motherboard first then put in USB stick second and then switch on because it would detect USB stick and boot fast before you can do anything. If not detect USB stick at boot then you need to go into BIOS or UEFI setup and click on UEFI USB stick icon to boot into EFI mode to start Windows 7 installation.
