As an HP employee you are likely right with that thought!

They will likely take a retrospective stance and work on current shipping product lines and then work back.
HP have a hell of a lot products that are now legacy, so that's a lot of low to no value work to do.

there is not much difference on how drivers and products work with Vista & Win7 so it should not be much leg work, no company can use the same excuses that came when Vista first crawled onto the market

Time to have a look I have a HP 6715b laptop that doesn't run quite right, HP C5100 printer that there is no drivers

HP 720C on my Mother's PC installs the driver, but crashes the print spooler

i have a 6710b laptop and no HP drivers but windows7 had the lot and works a treat, i even use the finger print reader now as the win7 one is sooo good
