Windows 7 logon bug! - does it do it for you?

not tried it jim, on my work pc at the moment, and have too much open to log out

I installed win7 and it wouldn't recognise a partition i made upon install I gave up from there and went back to vista 64 not buying 7 til a few key bugs are ironed out

I think the fundamental qustion is. WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU WANT THE BLACK BASIC COLOUR THEME?

I sort of prefer this on most of my setups.... been using the architecture themepack though as it's got some purdy pics

Just been playing around with our test box, if you set Any solid colour, I've tried, Black , White and Blue, the logon time takes longer, however, If you turn Off aero, for example: select the Basic theme, login is normal, just looks like crap!!! LOL

So it looks like a problem between Aero and Solid colours!!!

I have a custom logon screen (dark grey like the Photoshop CS4 main window BG) because quite frankly a pretty logon screen is meh - I like it simples!

Theme wise I use the black aero colour with no theme.

that would explain why my laptop is fine ,the graphics aren't good enough to run aero

its not basic it's the 'solid colour theme' i like the black desktop and black taskbar

Hmmm, my login to windows has suddenly slowed and takes quite a while to login but im using the default theme and a background picture, will try switching to a plain colour then back to see if it fixes it

Changed to black, logged off and on again, took ages.

Changed back to my background and just as slow, guess its just the install for me as next to nothing loads up by default..

Oh well, fresh install coming soon when get the official through so will survive til then!

i was at microsoft in Reading today for win7 seminar, i got one of the head UK techy guys to test on his laptop and it did it
