If the license keys for the full version work also for the E version, then you could just download the original Windows 7 E MS MSDN DVD ISO image from the internet and use that.

I'd rather use the genuine discs really. I'm not too bothered that IE8 is going to be included, I would have preferred it if it wasn't as I never use it.

Legally dubious, but also the MSDN image is the Ultimate edition unless you modify it before installing (just delete ei.cfg I believe). There's no facility to downgrade Windows, only upgrade, so you'll end up reinstalling unless you're careful.

Its monopolies they don't like.And various fruit and vegetables that don't conform to their standards!
Anyway,if we still get our pre ordered full copies what does it matter!
