Windows 8.1

some are fine some have issues i was 110 percent flying on windows 8.0 best os for gaming right now but... 8.1 needs work. its new so to be expected but the issues i mainly faced made my games unplayable.

guess it depends how much you game ? few hrs here and there maybe ride it out for fixes if you game a lot like i do stay on win 8.0 or 7 and leave win 8.1 alone.

DG what mouse you using?
 
Can't say I have noticed any problems yet, things seem a little smoother since the update though.

Actually I lie, I had problems getting my Creative audio drivers to stick, fixed that in the end though.

i use a mx518. if you check and google the issues its over various mice and the issue i was having is it locks your rate at 125 which is a joke in gaming . you cant over ride it no matter what you do.

some mice which have profiles can get round it but not always the case. windows pulled the build due to some of the issues. hopefully theyll update and fix soon.

I use Corsair M65 my polling rate is fine 1ms...
 
There's no way I'm uninstalling an OS I purchased because of a few bugs. If I have to disable crossfire to play 1 game then thats fine, I have only used my pc around 8 hours since the update and everything else is fine. I still need windows 7 for certain programs but that's fine using dual boot, always up for a challenge anyway so its all good fun :)
 
Well I took the plunge and I've been fine. Only tried a few games, FF14ARR and LOL - Appear to be fine! No mouse lag or anything on my SWTOR Naga.

This is from most people upgrading though as that is what most people will have done. Me included from the store, considering this is essentially a glorified service pack.

I haven't had any issues on my laptop with 8.1, despite having numerous issues when I upgraded on the same computer from 7 to 8.

What I am interested in is whether people who have done a full format and then installed 8.1 have any of these issues...

On my main PC/work PC I'm currently sticking with Windows 7 anyway.
 
the funny thing even microsoft admitted there was issues and pulled the builds down yet people say there arnt issues :p upgrades or not the update was screwed.

just tried Sleeping Dogs and it works fine. in fact all my games work
