Got my PC upgraded the other day and since overcoming my initial BIOS issues I have been enjoying the speed of Win 8.1
The tweaks in 8.1 over 8 make it that much more usable with a mouse (I found it annoying on my mum's PC before installing Start8)...I don't think I'll ever go back to Win 7 by choice now. It boots quicker, it responds faster, it looks crisper - it's just a pleasant experience.
