lol, I'm ditching the homeplugs this month, so it should hopefully be 2 to 3 times faster (BT Homeplugs might be slowing it down).

Also.. if you download using the windows setup tool, it will check the file for you, so don't have to bother checking the hash etc. It then converts it to an ISO 'if' you want to do so.

I can't seem to get network drivers for my g1 sniper ( Bigfoot e2100 I think ).

Any help would be hugely appreciated. I got it installed ( downloaded through msdn ), but no version of windows is good with no internet!

Well the consumer preview didnt play nicely on my macbook. Used to get very hot and some programs would cause nasty lockups.

Took a while to install on mine.

But I only have a e6300 @ 2.5ghz, 4gb ram, 500gb sata 7200rpm hdd

Running like a treat so far, Although I miss Aero already.

Just installing Server 2012 in VirtualBox! Install seems to be going at a decent speed.

Edit: just finished installing. That was like 10mins!

tried to install it onto a 60GB ssd connected via USB3 turn's
out the installer doesn't let you install onto usb or firewire
connected drives. I can understand not allowing firewire but USB3
is more than capable.

A mash up of a desktop OS and a tablet OS, does badly at both of them.

At least Windows 7 is supported for a while to come.
