Windows activation on Dell

Kinda OT but have any of you found that the new Windows key stickers are really rubbish? The XP license sticker on my netbook has rubbed off completely and the one on my laptop (which is only 7 months old) is already unreadable! Still I luckily have the recovery media stored so they automatically activate but it's still annoying.

Yes ive noticed that the text on the newer Windows sticker seem to wear off really quickly. I have two laptops one old one with XP from about 2004 and a newer one with Win 7 and the license key on the win 7 laptop had almost wore off completely while the XP laptop is still easily readable. Im guessing its done as some anti piracy measure but does make it a pain if you need to reinstall you OS and then can't enter the key

Success.Used Dell media and it didn't even ask for a license key, nor need activated. MSE Iron and Thunder installed. Jk defrag too, all good. Cheers all!
