Windows backup and raid

Hi all

Can i do a full windows7 backup to ext usb drive with image coming from
1 ssd and can i restore the os onto the same ssd but in raid 0 with a new ssd?

It should be possible (definitely so with other backup programs like Acronis), just make sure that windows has the RAID drivers installed. Easiest way to do this is to put your controller in RAID mode whilst you still only have one drive and make sure it boots and installs the drivers correctly.
