Just installed it myself and it's fab. Lets hope the recent Live! server outages are related to upgrades to the servers for this!

swapping the sides the picture is on though is one of those pointless changes companies make to software to make it look like they're actually updating things..

Only downside is all the ad stuff at the bottom. sometime catch the streaming vids by accident and jumps to the top covering anything im working on. Trillian is still the way to go, even free version

If it let me turn off all the fluff and just be a messanger, then id be happy.

hope i can get rid of the "groups" row as i only use online/offline (and the mobile thing because of the annoying ppl that set mobile messaging up

I can't stand it, it's too bright and it's full of bloat.

same here. the text looked weird too...sorta harsh on the eyes. ill try it again once its out of beta I guess

Just tried this, what an awful program. The only reason I dont come away from live messenger is due to not finding another program that has "what im listening to" and the ability to paste .tmp screenshots into the conversation.

Unless anyone knows of an alternative which has these features?

ah yeahhh!! been using printscreen + paste loads since i figured out i didnt need to paste/save in paint first :\

Ill have a look tomorrow tbh, I always patch mines to get rid of all the AD's and rubbish that i never use. List of contacts/Pictures/Playing now does me fine for my contact list,

Fair, I really wouldn't mind replacing MSN at some point. I would miss my games though. Can't beat a bit of backgammon.
