Some of the imagery (like of Norwich) is at least several years old. Nevertheless, I like the level of detail you can get with this that you just don't find on Google. :)

Phoenix halls ! and the Level !

Neither GE or this offers high res imagery of my area. Which is a shame because there is a lot of "cool stuff" near me that I wouldnt mind having a high-res peek at :)

Meh, same pic they've all had from 1991....

The red box denotes my ten acres, the blue box is where my house is, the green box is the garage, and the purple box is a building that hasn't been there since 1992.

It seems pretty good, I like the interface, but seems a bit more of a graphical hog that Google Earth / Google Maps is, but as it's Windows Live stuff, it's all going to be stuff that'll probably work a lot better on Vista.

It is still a Beta, so stuff probably will be out of date, and pics will always be out of date in some areas, as it takes quite a while to photograph everything.

They're only available in certain areas. It's pretty obvious if they're available, the window with the zoom buttons in totally changes.

My house:

Nowhere near as much detail as some of the images shown by others above, but not bad for a rural area. On gogle the whole village is just one big blur.
