Hello all

Just got a Kingston SSD for Christmas, git it all connected up and in the machine, boot into windows and it appears in the device manager, but wont appear in my comp, or let me see any information about it.

Any help would be appreciated. MOBO is ASROCK extreme 4 gen 3.

I will be doing a clean install on it as soon as my windows disk arrives. But id like to know its working.

Cheers

You'll need to create a partition on the drive. The easiest way to do this is right click on Computer, and select Manage. Then select Disk Management on the right, then you'll be able to create a partition from there :)

awesome got it working and can see it in windows ect ect.

I ran a speed test on it (same as in the review thread - AS SDD), The test drive scored higher in every test, with a final score of 494, mine only scored 346.

Is this down to difference in hardware?

Cheers
Ben
