So I put a rig together from spare pc parts I have and now it says to check hard drive for corruption. It will load the windows xp setup files, then blue screen when it is loading the actual setup.
The drive was working in my main rig as a storage drive, it still can work as a storage drive too. It wasn't corrupted the last time I checked. It's a Spinpoint F1 750Gb.
Do you think the drive is finished? It installed fine for my boot disk about 4 years ago lol.
Have checked BIOS settings, HPET off etc. It's not overclocked atm, ram stable.
