Wing suit

freefaller i believe does it reguarly

i've done it once, best thing ever, wish i lived on the mainland to do it more often!

its pretty badass.

dads been saying for years to go skydiving, eventually i do it, although that stuff isnt the same, because to them it feels like your flying, as stuff moves like crazy, jumping from a plane to flat land you dont know how fast your going and stuff etc..

Wow, that is amazing. Can't even imagine the amount of adrenalin pumping through there veins when they are flying that close to the ground like that

I've done a handful of base jumps, on very similar cliffs to that. Never done a wing suit jump but I'd love to. It's the closest to flying we can get at the moment, and it's just awesome. Wingsuits are amazing. Love it. Dammit I wanna go do it now!

One of hte things I will and want to do before I die or cause my death is to jump off a cliff with skis as per the first part of their jump, then land cut away the parachute as I get to the bottom of the slope with a beer waiting for me! :D One day... one day!

The wing suits are very similar to what you wear when indoor skydiving/floating. Is a lot of fun but can't touch the real thing of jumping out of a plane at 16,000ft :D

You mean a Vodka Martini, shaken not stirred? :D

I could see myself doing something like this. I hate heights but I'm not wired up right, I'd still do it. I'm like Marty McFly, call me yeller and I go do something crazy.

I suppose you'd need quite a bit of ££ to get the gear, and legal drops you'd need a license for wouldn't you?

I've seen a lower-quality vid starting from when one of them talks about flying as far as possible becoming boring, so they have started flying as close to things as possible...

...is it me, or are the lyrics of the song in the background "Jesus! Jesus! Jesus!"?

People who want to do this should bear in mind that it is very, very dangerous. Watch Jeb Corliss talking about having to swerve to avoid a friend's corpse hanging from a parachute, being soaked in his friend's blood from flying through a rain of it and landing next to his friend's severed leg. His friend was maybe a tenth of a second out in their judgement, and that can easily be fatal in this sort of thing.

It's dangerous to ignorant people. People who do this are professionals or experts with 1000s of jumps. They make their choices and they are well informed ones at that. :)
