Winston Churchill was never prime minster

The parallels between the awful Weimar Republic and western society today are worrying. If things continue as they are, we may well see the rise of another evil dictator - and that isn't going to end well for any of us.

We desperately need to find a nice balance, but unfortunately people don't seem to want that anymore...

It wasn't. There was just so much other stuff going on about Churchill, you had to scroll to the bottom. But yeah his picture was missing for a day for some reason.

Durp. Why would BLM supporters be upset that Google allegedly deleted Churchill????? Why would the DM think it would upset BLM supporters but posting their story?

PS: I never denied BLM didnt attack the police but not relevant to the apparent deletion of Churchill.

White couple photos do exist when you search for 'couple' - Of which they are the majority.

It would also mean if people started uploading white couple photos and tagging them as black, your scenario would begin to happen once the scrapers get them.

Its just so obvious isnt it. Rather than it being some sort of 'hide white people' project. Who looks for 'white couples' anyway?

The funny thing is if you put in 'black people' you get a picture of Trump as well. He must be fuming.

Are you talking about alternative facts again? Alternative facts are not facts they are lies.

Getting rid of statues is not rewriting history. Denying the history of those people is trying to rewrite history.

Or you could instead go to google and search "couples" and you get lots and lots of white couples. So effectively white is the default.

When you google "white couples" the keywords change and so the search criteria change and it will be looking for the term white as well as couple, this will bring up a lot of interracial couples as the keyword "white" would be in it as well as the keyword "couple".

I wrote alternative views. Views that might be right or wrong.

I'm talking about the denial of expression and how some won't tolerate it.

I would imagine there are very few people who think Winston Churchill did no wrong. Even after world war 2 he was booted from office. But the fact remains without this flawed man leading Britain during ww2 we might be living in Nazi Britain now.

I actually agree with you except for one thing, there are loads of people who think Churchill is a saint and saviour and absolutely did no wrong. You would be surprised at how many people dont even realise he was kicked out after the war ended. All they know is that he saved us from the Nazis and the "fight them on the beaches" kind of speeches.

I just don't care what he did wrong. There are loads of people who choose to focus on the negative things about him as another excuse to denigrate their own country. They are normally the types who follow Owen Jones on Twitter and talk about how we must do more for the environment. Really they just hate any form of Masculinity, any form of Patriotism, and society at large.
