Winston Churchill was never prime minster

I don't think anyone is denying Winston Churchill was ever Prime Minister - or planning to. This article seems like clickbait to me.

Or so some would like you to think.

This is a very dangerous slope, colouring out parts and figures from history. Regardless of how you feel about anyone or anything it is history. You can not erase it and to try to shows how weak minded people are.

Scandalous, who's next on their hit list?

Even the article you quoted shows Churchill listed as PM just without a picture. The picture is back now.

What goes up....

It's the cultural war they are trying to win.

Who are "they"?

I saw this last night. Google had removed his image and also if you clicked the box where it should have been his biography was also missing.

Who was Prime Minister from 1940-1945? It seems to be missing as well - I'm sure just another coincidence. It's not like that was an important period in history or anything.

I mean, I've just google searched and he's there
Yep I done the same when I got sent a link to the story. I think it’s a bit click bait, but if it was true.... well it’s just shows how they are trying to change our history because they don’t like parts of it. It’s a very slippery.... they have already started to ban certain films and tv shows. What’s next burning books, oh wait what does that remind you of?

It is true. Last night his image and bio were blank.

Well it is now if it's been restored but it begs the question why was it done?

To stir up division
Equality is not the required outcome from this is pretty obvious.

You're assuming it was something done deliberately.

"They" again. Perhaps you can give a clearer answer as to who "they" are.

Astonishing that people on a tech forum are acting like a broken image link for a thumbnail is the result of some nefarious plot.

What's more likely:
- Google made an update to that page which broke the image link temporarily.
- Google decided that they could bring down society by removing the thumbnail image of one of its most popular prime ministers.

Chances are people were messing with wikipedia / other sites that google scrapes the images and info from. Or as it's been said, google were changing what they were citing - I mean the image comes from sco.wikipedia rather than en.wikipedia

People obviously forget the 90s internet.

Black power.
Feminists.
Marxists.
Progressives.
Anarchists.

etc.

You seem to have dismissed the unexciting technical reasons this could happen so your evidence that one or more of these groups infiltrated Google to remove reference to Winston Churchill is what?
