Why not save yourself time and set the thermostat correctly.
It was, but for some reason it just felt overly warm. Maybe it's the oscillating warm/cold air making my body confused. Maybe it was me just sweating out the pigs in blankets baps I had.

I know what you mean.
Have a setting on mine that means I can reduce the normal temperatures a little then if it's more than 15c below the set point it adds another 1deg to the temps, means it's around 19c at the minute then if it's 3c or less outside it'll adjust to 20c inside. It makes it much more comfortable on these slightly warmer days.

Wish people will crush their cans, plastic bottles etc before they put them into their recycling bins. Not only they get more stuff in their bins as no air - esp as my bin day is Monday. Next one will be Sat 30th. Then when bins get knocked over in the wind, less stuff is blown about. A crushed can doesn't move as much than uncrushed.

To be fair that is one which winds me up - we have recycling bins for cans at work with a large notice saying to crush cans... do people do that... **** no it would mean lifting a finger and taking some responsibility... so the bin fills up in no time at all... then no one takes any responsibility for emptying it...

EDIT: I guess it is something that people even bother to put their cans in it at all and still a minority who just throw their cans into general waste (which is somewhat understandable as you can do it by instinct but these people make no effort to do better) and/or put general waste in the can bin... which isn't excusable.

It is rather mild although it’s been blowing a gale in the North East. Hardly slept last night as I thought the roof and/or windows weren’t going to last the night.
