Been a really warm day today.

Had. Just one layer On for the up hill part of the walk.

The only other thing I hate about living on the south coast (house prices being the main one) is that when snow is forecast for most of the UK is is almost guarenteed that we will see none.

In the last ten or so years it has layed in 2013ish for snowball Britain and I think once again in about 2017

I think England as a whole gets a lot less snow these days. In the north east as a kid I remember wading through feet of the stuff on a regular basis. They get snow up there, but not loads anymore.

Same near Glasgow, I remember the school bus getting stuck at least a few times during winter when I was younger. Now at best we get a light powder on the sides of the path.

Sons sledge is out in the garden hoping we get a decent amount but it's sunny now just -4 :|

Yeah, in the hills of the south Pennines in the 70s we used to get it from Dec to Feb and it would be all-covering with huge drifts.

We had 6 inches or so overnight and it's still snowing on and off with more forecast later. It's bloody freezing outside at -1.9 degrees C with a biting northerly breeze.

No snow here. But south Wales coast basically never get any.
Love this cold snap. It's so nice and bright outside. Just wish I didn't have to work!

It’s 1C, the sky is blue, the sun is shining and I’m out and about working away. Started later than normal but it’s lovely now. Tomorrow and Wednesday may be a bit awkward with some snow forecast but I doubt it’ll be anything to write home about

My old village just south had some epic snow drifts. The fam just messaged and said it was the headline pic on the weather forecast.
