It’s ******* TATERS!
I think England as a whole gets a lot less snow these days. In the north east as a kid I remember wading through feet of the stuff on a regular basis. They get snow up there, but not loads anymore. The only other thing I hate about living on the south coast (house prices being the main one) is that when snow is forecast for most of the UK is is almost guarenteed that we will see none.
In the last ten or so years it has layed in 2013ish for snowball Britain and I think once again in about 2017
Same near Glasgow, I remember the school bus getting stuck at least a few times during winter when I was younger. Now at best we get a light powder on the sides of the path.I think England as a whole gets a lot less snow these days. Yeah, in the hills of the south Pennines in the 70s we used to get it from Dec to Feb and it would be all-covering with huge drifts.I think England as a whole gets a lot less snow these days. We had 6 inches or so overnight and it's still snowing on and off with more forecast later. It's bloody freezing outside at -1.9 degrees C with a biting northerly breeze.
Aberdeen today.
