Lets hope I posted this in the right section. My first thread by the way (woo!)

Anyway, as much of you know its getting cold and will be freezing in no time. So I am on the shop for a Winter Coat. (Budget £60)

Preferably with a hood and hopefully a mix between stylish and practical(of course :D)

So does Overclockers have any style or fashionistas? :) Thanks :)

Scruffs™ Pro Hooded Softshell Jacket

i like this one, had one last yr but i seem to have lost it.. 54 quid..

might buy my self a Evolution Triclimate Jacket tho

I bought one of these, the other day, http://rab.uk.com/products/mens-clothing/down_1/infinity-endurance.html :333333333333333333333333. But it's in the post, still :'''''((((((.

For your budget, just go into a local Cotswold/Blacks/etc, and see what they have on offer/available, tbh. Compare prices online, as you could well find them cheaper, but going in yourself will mean you get the bulk/compact-ness, etc, you want.
I am sure that would be very practical but on terms of style it isn't really up there. Thanks for the suggestion though. :)

Stretch a tenner more and get this.
That is actually pretty nice but the budget is a solid £60 which is already sort of stretching it. :)

That looks pretty awesome. I am trying to stay away from black and white cause my whole wardrobe is black and white so I am looking for something with a bit of colour. But I gotta say that coat really appeals to me. Thanks.

i love my stormtech jacket, infact i now have 2 as i keep one for fishing aswell there very hard wearing and cumfy too

rocking out my west beach coat for another season I thinks. Since I don't mind the cold it's not all that important.

Water proof and windproof shell? Berghaus RG1's are £60 at millets atm. Otherwise just go pick something generic and thick from Primark and spend the other £30 on a night out.

For all the hype, warrated or otherwise, I spent £120 (reduced from £160) on a NothFace HyperVent coat two years ago. It comes with a built in zipped fleece. Thing is, the jacket on it's own is so warm I never have the fleece in it. The only time I did was when I went to Prague at xmas last year and it was -12C in the daytime. Against wind and rain, it's pretty much bullet proof.

I have a burton's 'military style' woollen jobbie I bought last year - seriously warm!

£80 when I bought it.

EDIT: This one.

Only niggle with it is WHY IS THE ZIP ON THEM ON THE WRONG WAY ROUND?
