Hello guys, need some help, I moved in to my new house, I originally wanted to go with Virgin media Fibre but they cancelled the move saying they wont dig over 10 meters even though next door have it. So I have BT Infinity which is great 38mb down, and 9mb up and 15 ping. But I am using my Dlink DIR-655 instead of the home hub. But the range wont cover some parts of the house due to size of house and thick walls, any recommendation on a access point to go with this router. And also is anyway to use the Home Hub as a access point?

Is it just one room you need to reach or multiple? If it's one room, then homeplugs might be an option.

The 655 has strong wireless output, so if you can't reach the back rooms, an access point should work, but I don't know much about them so can't advise, sorry.

Cheers for the reply, its one bedroom, and a large living room, I just need wireless in the rooms, as the Master socket was put in the Study as I didnt want wires across the house. Im not sure which access point to use, is it better to use the same brand as the router I have?
