I'm missing something here.

Not to be rude, but what reason would you have for fitting them to your car?.
Then you need to update your profile, obviously you aren't a 21yo student anymore. btw nice David Blaine site.

underworldmagic said:LOL, im just simply trying to accomplish something, and my goal is to recreate a police vehicle. I love customising vehicles
Others like to go over the top (you may think im going OTT) but really whos going to watch TV under the car, on the steering wheel, on the rear view mirror etc (just some of the things on pimp my ride and also on car shows ive seen)
If you like customising and working with vehicles, your goal is trying to recreate something which no one has never thought of (even though it doesnt make sense sometimes, and things may not be practicle). Mine is to try and recreate a police vehicle.

I'm pointing out the obvious here, but you do realise that driving a vehicle on the roads that "could" be construed as a Police vehicle because of its visual warning devices, when it plainly isn't, is illegal, very much so?.

Fair enough, but whether the OP is a serving police officer or not, its still illegal to drive a privately owned vehicle on the roads with these type of visual warning devices fitted and being used, even if you have a warrant card in your wallet.
If its for off road use, fine.
I've been a member of the emergency services for just over 17 years, for the record.
