Wisdom teeth removal

I really can't remember what I ate when I had my top and bottom on the left taken out, It didn't hurt much at all though. I do remember getting out of bed right after coming around and the nurse telling me I had to get back on the bed because I was wobbly on my feet :D

I got out of bed pretty much instantly when wheeled back to my ward. Felt absolutely fine!

I went under yesterday (general anesthetic) to get 2 wisdom teeth taken out, the left ones.

Whilst you might be thinking "why not local?", the top was rotten and barely any left on the cap and the bottom was growing downwards below the gum.

So a bit more than pulling them out was involved.

Anyway, I had no side effects or issues with the general anesthetic and was out of the hospital almost immediately. I have not taken any painkillers at all and don't wish too.

I am eating soup, but my god it's not enough! I'm so hungry!!

I have to be careful as I have over 6 stitches, the ones that dissolve so can't eat anything 'rough'.

Any suggestions on food that will actually fill me up but is soft?

Oh, as for the rotten wisdom tooth, I blame bad dental health and smoking.

Both of which I'm on top of now, but really wish I never took up smoking and brushed at least twice a day. Not just in the morning. Also, almost a year without smoke!

I did the same thing (bottom two for me). I suggest large quantities of ice cream. It's delicious and you have an excuse. Smoothies are good too.

In the fridge, is lots of bacon that needs to be eaten, tons of fresh salad, eggs... Think I could get away with eating bacon.
