Wish I Knew of This Members Market Sooner :(

Yeh, I've been on this forum (and buying stuff from OC) for almost 10 years now. I just don't post much, as I tend to read threads to find answers and use the search function instead of just spamming the same questions over and over.

Turns out I should have just kept repeating questions and spamming rubbish! Search engines are for chumps! Necro all the threads!

I'll add the /s here, before the mods think I'm actually being serious. Except if I want a GPU, I'm now going to have to do that, so... I guess catch-22 on that one.
I am in the same case

Oh god stop moaning please, its the quickest and probably most practical thing to implement. What do you want them to do ,go off historic purchase value. Be happy they have done something at least it means less people in the rush for an fe

I should have spammed the forums with posts over the years to get access to the members market by now but sadly I rarely post and mainly just read and see what’s going on.

Perhaps OCUK could give me access to it as a thank you for the over £2000 of ram I sent back to them a few years ago that they sent me by accident? ;)

they did...some people forget to set upper limits to the pricing. We just cancel the order and blacklist the details.

That's far too nice, I'd consider some sort of ToS line that states if an account is suspected of being a bot, you can reserve the right to refuse to ship, but also refuse the refund... Would certainly take the more opportunistic scalpers out of the market quickly!

@BlueInf @Nirurin

we've gone over this numerous times in the last few months, we looked at a way of creating a section with looser access requirements but we're not able to within the abilities of the current forum (which I've been told is in the process of being updated along with the website)

Yes this was the solution we had hoped for and was put into action, both myself, IT and the moderator team spent a week working hard but in the end there was some kind of code issue that required a lot more IT involvement and right now they don't have the time to commit to sorting that due to working on the new systems ScottiB has eluded to many times on the forum.

But we did and hoped to do exactly as per the above with a new forum sub section in graphics focusing on voucher deals for members who had been joined 1 or more years with 50+ plus post, unfortunately we can't make it happen right now. :(

Hopefully with several major updates coming in the future then this might become possible.

Man, I wish I knew about it too. Was sent the twitter post about vouchers by a friend and thought, I have been using OCUK for a while now and should have a forum account. Tough luck I guess, have to try and get a card another way.

Well today I started my new job at OCUK giving out helpful advice on the forums in return for a future seat in the 'Big D lounge' and *perks*.
I don't know much but i'll try my best, wish me luck, hope I don't get sacked. :D

I knew about it and have been trying to get my numbers up, but can't stand posting for no reason usually.
So there has been lots of me checking a thread just to leave without commenting because someone had already said what I would have.

Thanks for highlighting the post, had missed it.

Maybe start a post about mining, that should get your numbers up ;)
