Witcher 1 or Fable 3?

Fable 1 or Witcher 1/2.

They are all brilliant.

Fable 3 on the other hand is just several hours of a game not letting you do what you want.

Despite still identifying myself as a Fable fan, I'd still say the Witcher. Nowadays, if you look up 'missed potential' in the dictionary, it'll just have a picture of Fable 3 :(

That reminds me, I haven't done my yearly play of Fable 1 yet, and I'm running out of time.

What do you do in your yearly play? Just main story or side quests too?

ah cool, its not on steam so i thought it wasnt, wheres the cheapest place to get it? and will it register on steam?

Won't register on steam, was out a few years before steam was available I believe.
And a few retailers probably have a few cheap copies, check there. - Order online from their sites though, don't go into a shop.

Usually most, if not all, of the main story (enough to unlock everywhere, I sometimes don't finish it, usually due to something new and shiny coming out), plus any side quests that take my fancy during that particular run.

It started out as 'I haven't played Fable as an evil character yet', then became 'I haven't played a pure mage yet', but it's just become a yearly urge to have a bash at good old Fable. I have the same urge with a few games, Freedom Fighters and Def Jam Fight for NY spring to mind, so I hook up the Xbox to a spare TV and have some fun.

Scarily, if I combined the time I've spent playing those three games, I could probably have finished a good portion of my unfinished pile. But screw it, they're awesome :p

OH MY GOD what a game that was.

If there was a single game I wished they would remake from a console game to a brand new PC game, that would be top of the list by miles.

Gameplay was amazing for it's day, absolutely loved it!

Witcher 1 is much better RPG than any Fable, And Witcher 2 just stomps Fable into the ground with a power of thousand pound gorilla.

Fable 3 was worth playing if you are a fan of the series.
Bit of a let down overall, Improved multiplayer at the expense of the emote wheel and a few other gameplay features.

The witcher on the other hand is a better RPG game, way more difficult.
The original is quite slow to start but very good once you get into the 2nd part of Vizima.

Always good when people recognise that game for the distilled awesome that is was :D

I thought fable 2 was an amazing game i loved it too bits, fable 3 was ok i guess and to answer your question the witcher by a country mile.

Witcher! Its a fantastic game which I absolutely loved playing through. Its an example of why PC gaming is great. Once your finished, if you're anything like me, you'll immediately want to play the sequel.
