Is this any good on PS5? The PC version doesn't support HDR so I was wondering if this was worth picking up? I'm hoping it's supporting smooth frames at 4k 60FPS+

I have the GoTY version of TW3 on PS4 - does anyone know whether the “complete edition” download includes all DLC/Expansions and also whether you can transfer your saves over from your other version of the game? I remember there were previous issues on PlayStation where the system saw different versions of the game as different products and saves would not transfer. Has this now been addressed?

Not sure for Witcher 3 - but I had this issue when I picked up the digital edition of Kingdom Come Deliverance; it was never resolved.

I must be dense - I cannot find the free update...

If I go the suggested route of clicking the dots, and going to the "Complete Edition" it shows as 20 quid, I've popped my disc in and it downloaded a large 4.00 update - so maybe this will trigger it?

I found some 'fix' on YouTube that said you won't see the free update if your disc is a different region from the console, but my disc has 2 on the back; which covers the UK as far as I can see.

Edit: oddly I can download the PS5 versions of the expansions... Might try a console reboot once they've finished downloading.

SOLVED: a reboot of the PS5 fixed it - I almost hit Buy on the Complete Edition then lol

I have the GOTY edition (which I seem to remember buying last year for like £7) but it doesnt give me a PS5 download option just PS4.........? Am I missing something or do GOTY editions not get the free update?

Had a quick go on lunch. Loving the improved FPS. (Only farted around in the kaer morhen bedroom for a few minutes) but looks good !

only had a quick go last night - but that farm building that burns in one of the towns - if you go in there afterwards the difference RT on and off is HUGE

pity such a framerate hit though - doesn't even really feel a solid 30

It sounds like I might as well stick to PC with RT off rather than buy this for PS5? One thing I've noticed on PC is hitching, is the PS5 version smooth enough with RT disabled?

I put a good few hours into this last night on PS5 and the performance is great! Looks absolutely stunning.

Can't see much difference between performance and quality tbh, but the 30 fps of the latter is unplayable for me. 60 fps all the way.

You have to click the three dots next to the price tag and then select complete edition.
