Can't wait to play this later.

Finished Witcher 2 last night in preperation for this evening.
Considering its fresh and it seems only W2 really is important to W3, any recommendations on any summaries?

Read the Kotaku article and there were 2 videos that people on GAF mentioned but it seems theres so many people and a fair few choices its hard to understand what were the main points to grasp before starting W3.

I paid £35 from Tesco Direct.

Shows as £44 to me, I guess that was some sort of pre-order deal. No flippin' good to me now :p

So far then...

Sainsburys £45.99
Asda £47
Tesco £44 (in store)

Think I'll pick it up from Sainsburys then. Does every standard copy of the game come with the manual and map etc?

They had that deal twice in the last month - both times mentioned in the deals thread...

Tesco Direct have clubcard boost on at the moment so thats a thought

This cost me £29.95 on PS4 as Very gave me a £25 off code as they usually do for paying back the credit you use :p

Liking it so far, but I've noticed frame rate dips already.

No clubcard and until now I wasn't sure if I wanted the game as the Witcher 2 was good but not amazing, so I've pretty much ignored pre-order deals for this.

I don't really know what the main points where, as the decisions you make don't really have immediate ramifications, but:

I chose to kill Aryan La Valette, I chose to go the Roche path, I killed Loredo in Flotsam, then I let Roche kill King Henselt because that guy is an arse. I then chose to save Triss over helping Roche find Anaïs (supposedly king Foltest' daughter and possible future heir to the Temerian throne). And the final decsion was to allow Letho (the assassin of the kings {he killed Foltest & the others} to live, I did this because he's a fellow Witcher.

From what I understand I think choosing to help Triss over helping Roche makes Anaïs' future a bit more unclear...

Handy link to the decisions available in Witcher 2.

Just got to the gryphon - I killed it but found it quite tough. The monster didn't have any sort of attack pattern or way to dodge out of damage then get back in - am I really bad at this game or is it supposed to be relatively tough?
