Witcher 3

where are you guys buying from? whats the best deal to be had (PS4) im thinking game colection or simply games

i like how all the previews have only shown side quests so i hope the main parts are really special. need to get on with the Time of Contempt book as it has a lot about the wild hunt and a character named Ciri, who is seen in many a trailer so far. she seems to be a strong focus for the story.

I'm going for a digital copy from the Xbox store. Pre-order was £40 on there as it was discounted, and it means my friend who I game share with can play it too (we take it in turns to buy games).

I went with Game collection in the end, decided to just go for os4 over pc as i cant justify upgrading my gfx card at this point :(.. Although she did offer to get it for me if i paid her back :D NO

Pre-ordered it for PS4 today. I'd already ordered it for PC on GoG ages ago, but now that the specs are out, neither my desktop nor laptop would handle it. I'd hoped one of them would, as they were both perfectly fine with The Witcher 2.

... just don't tell the wife.

Still no console footage with under a month to go. Is it just me or isn't that rather unusual? Not even seen an ad - perhaps its still considered a niche title

I really couldn't give a ****, it's 1080p 30FPS on PS4 so I am not concerned one bit they are hiding anything.

1080p 30FPS doesn't mean much by itself - there were a few 1080p 30fps games on 360/ps3 but obviously none of them will look as technically impressive as Witcher 3.

Anyway, I don't think PS4/XboxOne owners need to worry much. i'm not expecting a rock solid 30FPS on both consoles but the game will look great and run well enough.

This should ease your minds: https://youtu.be/fihCd2M9ZwM?t=5m46s (includes a little off-screen ps4/xboxone footage too).

Not long now!.

The PS4 gameplay looks really good, and not that much different from the PC ultra stuff thats been show. I'm quite happy to pick this up for my PS4 over my PC which is getting on, and is stuffed full to bursting :o ... Will trade-in Dragon Age Inquisition, which I'm totally bored of, and get this as my console RGP.

I changed from ps4 to pc as i decided to upgrade my graphics card and the game came with it but damn im impressed how it looks on ps4! They should have shown it earlier, nothing to hide there!

Obviously there will be some visual differences but if i was still getting it on ps4 i would be happy with that

Could really do with some XO footage to see how that fares. I've got £50 XBL credit and this would make an ideal purchase if it holds up technically.

Man I'm excited about this - way more than I expected

10days to go and I still need to catch up with 1/2s story

It really does look good, and I'm very tempted, this should be my sort of game. However, I've started Witcher 2 twice (maybe three times) and every time I just can't get into it and never even get past the first chapter.

I want this, but I'm going to force myself to skip it.

I felt the same with Witcher 2 it never gripped me like the Witcher 1 did. Will get this on PC at first as it's cheaper and if I enjoy will go PS4.

The tutorial (assuming you're talking about that and not chapter 1) is very poor compared to the rest of the game.
