Witcher 3

I've been playing this on the PS5 Pro and I can't really notice that much difference graphically between this version and the next gen update they did :cry: I think it was a great looking game in the first place.

This is one of those games I never got into, tried for a couple of hours once.

Seems perfect shout for Switch 2 so may finally give it a go, I only ever hear good things!

Same, I bought it on the PS4, played about 2hrs, died and never picked it up again. So much so i gave the game to my ex, but I did pick it up again on Steam after we broke up I guess I could give it another go. The skill tree is like Cyberpunk now I hear which is nice.

I don't think the remaster looks right somehow. Like a weird washed out look with a base light level that is too high. Kind of reminds me of vertex lighting settings on quake engine games.

Enjoying getting back into the swing of things with it, but I'm hoping they release some more user defined settings to help with the lighting, or fix it in some other way.

That being said, it was provided for free, so I can't be too critical! :)

Not started it yet but have seen the lighting as you mention.

It does look very washed out, removing bloom looks like it helps a bit but it's lost a lot of the moodiness of the original (which I loved).

Perhaps a patch may address this, or some kind modder, by the time I put my pc back together and play it.

I only started and finished the witcher 3 last year.

I need to stop playing multiplayer games and focus on single player

When i do witcher remaster is the top of the list.

I know with all RPGs you just go somewhere and kill stuff but my god I have tried to play this game so many times and the voice acting is atrocious. Every one says it’s the most amazing game ever, but actually, it’s pretty **** lol

Cyberpunk, eventually, yes, a great game, but this? Nah. Hey ho.

Seems like a good time to try and get into this for the third time . Tried when it had won all the awards. Tried again on steam deck . Always get distracted by something else before I get grabbed by it and then can’t get back into it .
