Witcher or Dragon Age?

If youre gonna play DA, be careful of playing it at night.

No other game has such a capacity for making me fall asleep at the keyboard.

Witcher. More convincing, absorbing, atmospheric world & characters, and a pre-defined protagonist I actually like (which is more than can be said for most of the background options in DA:O, not to mention "Hawke").

the witcher 2! in some of the reviews it says one village has more life than the whole of kirkwall
Also this.

Many of the characters in the Witcher are "unlikeable" because it's a harsh world where people pretty much look after number 1.

I did like the banter in DA:O - I thought it was a nice touch, but now I'm further into the Witcher, I really like the skills system, alchemy and so forth. The combat in the Witcher is simple but really entertaining once you get more attacks. :D

I've not played Witcher, but I'm currently playing through DAO and loving it :D

Good characters, great story and the battles can be challenging. Not fought any great epic monsters yet but I'm told there are some huge beasties ahead which I'm really looking forward to.

Can't go wrong with it IMO.

Both different games OP. Both very good. If youre interested in more traditional party based rpg then DA:O is the one :) Allows for more tactics & party fun/management. e.g. decking out your characters in armour, weapons, rings etc...you dont get a lot of that kind of customization in the witcher.

Not sure which i like better...tbh. Havent finished Witcher (will before Witcher 2 lol) but have finished DA:O maybe thats an answer in itself ;)
