Well I had the strength to type in wiki: "The first black male solo artist to reach number-one in the 1990s" - thats what it says and obviously means just for the 90s and not when records began.

I'm out, this thread was interesting to read. :p

A range of black solo artists had number ones in the 1990s prior to Mark Morrison as I said......

I prefer to head off any criticism before it starts with a genuinely funny joke. Well, I try anyway.
