Wolfenstein media

Besides for me the RTCW multiplayer being the best ever on-line game
the SP game was one of My all time Favorites, no real gimics just a good old shooter with enough bit's and bobs that You had too think and manage Your health !
Remember spending a whole evening on 1 Level.....about the time it takes to finish a modern game !
I'm sure the new game will be pretty and easy with console type health so the kiddies can finish it in about 5 hours on their play stations :D

Anyway I pre-ordered it a while back so am keeping My fingures crossed ;)
 
i agree with whats already been posted

RTCW one of the best games of its time
but unfortunatly i think this new version will be just like Q4

decent enough game but no where near as good as its predecessor

Used to play RTCW MP all the time, was lucky/good enough to be in a team that competed at a pretty high level - still love the game to bits and I really hope they can capture the essence of RTCW MP. The single player looks OK, but it's the MP that I think a lot of people will buy it for. Fingers crossed!

Your a legend of Wolf Pigf@rmer. I used to play in your Tram server all the time. Im am not joking when I say I used to pay that game for hours and hours on end. Sometimes I would spend over 12 hours a day playing mp. The worst thing that happed to wolf was Splash Damage and their pathetic ET.. no where near the skill set required to be a good player and stole most of our community.

RTCW was the best multiplayer game ever made... awesome!!
 
I fear the halcyon days of Wolf Mp will never be seen again.

I spent many many hours playing the Mp game, fought with and against you PF and the many other characters we had kicking about in those days. Great, great times.

If the games is any good I hope a Beer(tm) reunion would be on the cards.

The Doom 3 engine can still hold its own, even today. I imagine this will be an upgraded version as well, not the stock version.
 
all they have got to do is release rtcw mp with updated graphics and pretty much everyone will love it and them for it.
 
^^It resembles the Doom3 engine so little now that Raven have almost made the engine their own so I doubt you wouldn't be able to find much in the way of similarities, unless you went in to it and took a look at the higher architectural layout of it.

Ahh the memories of Pappa's tram - used to play with him in the Mystery Clan, had a few clan meetups at the i-series, was an awesome time.

Like you guys, i was a HUGE fan of RTCWs online. I have a lot of nice memories from that game...I really really really hope this one turns out good (I am in need of a new shooter, too)
 
i spent hours just playing the beach map, sniping people from a distance.......great uni memories :D

ill pre-order this week.

we should all try and get an OCUK mp matches going, would be awesome
