lol you are posting on a forum where some people spend a small fortune on their cars such as ceramic coats and what not.

for a lot of people their car is the 2nd most expensive thing they will ever buy, as as such yes it is damn annoying when someone potentially damages it esp when just a tiny amount of care can avoid it.
Accidents happen, however at that point the response to the person whos car was damaged should be for the person whos trolly it was to apologise profusely and see what the damage was, and the person whose car was being photoed to strongly encourage the passenger to do so..

Even if Sainsbury's did show the lady the CCTV, it would only show the woman putting the trolley somewhere and not you, the insured driver. So I suppose she would have to make a civil claim against whoever put the trolley where it was.
