Woolwich serious incident

all the politically correct retards in this country sicken me.

A lot of us just don't like all people being tarred with the same brush for something a minority of their group did.

Furthermore, don't like offensive terms being thrown around because people do get upset. It's never a good thing to upset someone, surely? Unless they're dicks.

IF some of your group you know are doing or talking about doing or support doing such deeds then SPEAK OUT! Failure to speak and name these people makes you an accomplices.

I'm inclined to agree with you that it's ridiculous; obviously it's ridiculous. In that video, however, it looks to me that they are involved in some sort of minor protest rally. There are a huge number of police there, and the vans, and then the chap who was with the woman with a flag started mouthing of at some other guy, which is probably why they told her to get rid of the flag.

I speak out whenever I disagree with someone. Which is why I argue with you.

These terrorists, extremists, or whatever you want to call them, are obviously extremely marginalised. In the case of this Woolwich attack, even Choudry (sp?) said he was rejected from their group.

Its not everyone certainly and they are a minority among Muslims in the UK however they're not all that small a minority... for all the people on that march there will be many more who sympathise with their views and or people who are on the fence - especially younger Muslims who haven't fully established their views yet. While I don't have an issue with saying that the people on that march are exactly the sort of people who ought to hand in their passports and go live somewhere implementing the laws they want the EDL/proxy-racist lot aren't helping matters... if anything the likes of the EDL are going to just alienate more Muslims push some younger Muslims towards the full-retard side of Islam.

Really this is an issue the Muslim community needs to get a grip of... moderate Muslims really ought to be challenging the views of these people, the desire to dress up like a ninja, the stupid notions that someone not dressed in a ridiculous ninja outfit is trying to 'seduce' people. They're not going to listen to a non-muslim female reporter - she's a lesser human being to people following full-retard Islam - they might be persuaded, moderated by other Muslims in their community who have the foresight to realise that these gorups only serve to isolate and attract even more negative attention towards Muslims and do more damage to the perception of Islam in general than any non-Muslim could ever do.

Hi dowie, you make some interesting points and I agree with you, they need to be challenged. The arrogance that they show in that video disgusts me, and in fact - their actions and remarks go against what their Prophet taught them and what their religion teaches them - which is equality of all human beings regardless of race, colour, religion or social status. AFAIK, they are also taught to be kind and gentle to everybody and I quote a hadith (prophetic tradition) from their own religion: 'The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The believer is not given to cursing, slandering or obscene and foul speech.” Narrated by Ahmad, 3948; al-Tirmidhi, 1977; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani.'

You have to wonder if challenging that group would be similar to Christians challenging the Westboro Baptist Church, in the sense that - would it really have any effect? Personally, I think it can be done (albeit with difficulty), and if it is already being done - we probably wouldn't hear about it.

I hope you understand.

This wouldn't have stopped Wednesday attack I bet.

POLICE STATE HERE WE COME.

It wouldn't have, they've been waiting to push through this political wet dream for a while now, the fact they're using the murder of a soldier to do so when it has no relation to the attack is sickening.

The suspect was known to the security services, they even tried to recruit him. There he was, right under their noses on a plate and he still slipped through.

Yeah I guess the likes of the Westboro Baptist Church wouldn't likely listen to anyone... however the more extreme right wing evangelical types in the USA might well listen to a more moderate evangelical etc... some of those people do have a funny take on the bible and you start getting retarded things such as young earth creationism or people trying to challenge the value of pi etc... I don't think any of the Westboro Baptist Church would be free to preach at St Pauls Cathedral or Westminster Abbey yet the same can't be said about say the East London Mosque - one of the largest Mosques in the UK.

Some of these extreme Muslim groups have been allowed space in Mosques and the hate preachers will speak at community centers etc... Two weeks before the murder of this soldier one of his would be killers publicly called for Muslims to target troops in the UK... he was apparently debated on the matter by other Muslims but the fact he even felt comfortable standing up there in the first place and suggesting it speaks volumes... I couldn't personally imagine anyone suggesting to a church congregation that they should partake in some form of holy war in the UK and actively murder people - I'd expect that some members of the congregation would likely call the police fairly quickly if some mad man stood up and started encouraging such a thing.
