Sigh! I worry about people like this, I really do.

I will be honest. About 10 years ago my mate was out of work, he had been made redundant and was skint. We were planning a night out on a Saturday night, he had no money and his mum wanted somebody to go to Bingo with her (her usual mate was ill) so she said to her son "you come to bingo, I'll pay and I will giver you £40 to out with your mates on Saturday".

So he did, he ended up winning £150k ish on the national bingo game. He split the money 50/50 with his mum. He bought a decent car, and spent the rest over 2-3 years with nothing to show now.

I know it was his money and he can do what he likes with it but I'd be well annoyed if I won that much and had nothing to show for it 2-3 years later.
