I got today's in 4 this morning continuing my 217 day streak.

Fast forward to tonight and I clicked on it again in error and made the page refresh - leaving me to complete it again to make my streak............ 1 day!

I've never had refreshing the page cause any problems. Not sure how it tracks the stats, but there's a "something doesn't look right" link on the stats page which you could maybe try.

Thanks for the suggestion but all it does is asks you to start a NYT account - doesn't look like there is any way to get the stats corrected unfortunately!
