This took me ages! 4th attempt wasn't even a word just wanted to use the only vowel I had left and a couple of possible consonants which ruled out pretty much everything but the answer.

Not sure if srs? It accepts any combination of 5 letters, those letters don't have to form a word in the English language. You could put down XXXXX or VWXYZ if you wanted although neither would be helpful 99% of the time.
It most definitely has to be a real word

5 guesses and my usual narrow it down words completely failed aside from 1 vowel and consonant in the wrong place. With the remaining letters none of them together even formed the start of a word! Or so I thought at the time.
