Wordle ** WARNING: THERE ARE PROBABLY HINTS TO THE DAILY WORD IN HERE **

Found it harder than it should have been today - especially with two letters in the right place on my starter word ...

After a hail Mary for my third try I managed to get it in 4 - happy with that :)

Appreciate that fact but since NYT took over I've had a string of 6 incorrect guesses (and failed) whereas before I was hitting the correct word on two or three guesses consistently.

Just seems a bit of a coincidence.
 
I haven't posted for a while but I still play daily.

Guess distribution:

1 - 0
2 - 3
3 - 10
4 - 31
5 - 28
6 - 13

Today's word was a 6, and like @Karl said above, it was hard work!
 
Proper “par” word today. Solved in 4 guesses, took about 20 seconds.

On the more fun challenging days I might be able to guess in 3 or 2, but it could take me half a day of thinking between guesses! I like those ones.

For me, I find trying to do Octordle/Sedecordle in n+2 guesses is about the right level of challenge that can be achieved with some consistency. Wordle itself is a bit too variable
