I would like to send The New York Times suggested words to use. I know plenty of scientific words such as Quark.
I can recollect the word 'brine' messed a lot of people up and there were complaints about using scientific terms.

I actually find it is words with double letters and sometimes even just very common words that mess me up, the ones I hate are the ones where you only need 1 letter and it can be 5 different words.
