Try and guess what that smells like (sorry @poosemon but it was a learning opportunity at your expense).
However, in fairness, one wouldn't use it in that context.
Probably more like:
He woke up covered in something cold, crusty and not altogether pleasant. He couldn't remember much from the night before except that it had involved a Chicken Vindaloo endured with many beers and much later something Chinese with an indeterminate meat chased by many more beers that were playing fetch with the meal.
His stomach growled and then gave a little bark. The Chinese was obviously saying good morning . He belched loudly; the fetid fumes of his dragon's breath billowing out, joining and thickening the miasma that hung around him.
