Work Hours - while or till

don't be daft, it's either 'till or to.

Example; He works from 7:30 'till 4, but I worked from 10 to 11:30, thus i worked longer than he did.

You could also use; "Franks works between the hours of 8 and 3".

That one really boils my ****
Depending on the rest of the conversation I would either say " I work between 9 and 5" or "I work from 9 until 5". Were either of those statements true I would be a happier chappy.

Surely Boyo you would say something along the lines of 'Rwy'n gweithio rhwng 9 a 5' when I lived in Wales speaking the queens english was a crime, if you couldn't manage real Welsh any old mangled English would do.

'9 while 5' is a northern thing and has nothing to do with chavs and scum it's just a regional dialect much like the English spoken down south is just another regional dialect. The very idea of having one single correct version of a language as old, widly spoken and oft adapted as English is just laughable as is the idea that all the rules are for some reason now set in stone and we won't see massive grammar and dialect changes in future generations.
