Background checks not stalking I just look at what people have written previously on this forum, rather than actively follow what they post moving forwards, or looking for other data sources. It’s the type of thing to naturally pique my interest because I believe a forum like this probably has a disproportionately low number of genuinely poor people compared to wider society; meanwhile I also suspect posters here have a relatively high propensity to openly spend money on luxury tech. More often than not it is fairly easy to find examples of such spending and that is just based on posts people have made that you can quickly locate, they may have actually bought a whole bunch of other stuff as well.
It could even be a strategy people should adopt themselves, whenever they feel the need to moan about not being able to afford xyz or always being in debt, just look at what they’ve spent money on in recent years and ask if they really needed to have spent that much and compare to what others have.
