Working hard drive that has windows startup problem in new build?

Hey guy,

Well today I have built a new i5 system, and decided to use the same 750 watt PSU and 2TB Hitachi HDD that was in my first build that was over 3 and a 1/2 years ago. Can anyone see what the problem is? my old build was an AMD build would tht have any effects?

Yes that is the issue, you will need to do a clean install.

Thanks, I have put the hard drive back into mobo to get some files out , fresh installed it on new system now .
