Hey All,

I am about to set out on a home office/work station build for a family member, who will be using the system for Microsoft office, web browsing and as a multimedia platform (Netflix, Movies, YouTube, you know the usual stuff. They have a pretty strict budget of £350 but under is better, and i have 3 build in mind (Intel and AMD) from new parts and using some of my old hardware from my last gaming build.

I was hoping you could all chip in and give me your honest opinion with alternatives (same or better but cheaper etc) Regarding the AMD build, suggestions on a good older generation GPU (cheap off ebay, but good enough for video playback etc, they have a 4K tv but really 1080p playback would be good enough) would be a massive help, only starting building last year so still learning.

Ideally, i would rather not sure my 1300x, as i can sell that for £80ish. So what feedback can you call give me, ideally keep it around that price point or less, we are very strict on that.

Look forward to seeing all your suggestions and configurations.
