He got back pains and they took him. Buffon’s been injured for most of the season and declared himself fit for selection so it’s not much of a surprise.

Buffon, Italy's first choice keeper, was replaced at half-time after aggravating a back twinge he felt earlier during the warm-up in the rain where temperatures averaged about 8 degrees celcius.

"He had a bit of a problem in his back. He had a back ache during the warm-up - already it started to manifest itself," Lippi said after the match.

"The doctors will have to say (if he'll be back for the next game)."

How much have you put on them and what odds? I thought about it but the odds didn't seem to justify the risk, I might stick a couple of quid on them if New Zealand nick the first goal.

LOL no not all games...i have an accumilator on going...yesterday i had Cameroon and Italy to win...both screwed me over....today i have Slovak, Brazil and Portugal to win...tommorrow i have Spain to win and Chile to beat Honduras...i just need 3 results from today or tommorrow combined to win £250.


Knowing my luck ill end up with 2 results and the 3rd to screw me over.

Put £20 down on them at odds of 4/7...its part of my accumilator.
